Wendell announced that after long negotiations with city permits, he has finally gotten permission from the city to construct a modular building where the old white tent used to reside. I see quite a bit of park model construction around the resort so folks are still building sheds and room additions. The whole website is still “a work in progress” and will be further updated with new photos and special features so tune in often for new developments. You can just hit the print button on your screen to print the whole newsletter or choose which pages you want to print. We can print it out, fill it in, and fax or mail it back to get our tickets. These calendars will be kept current and will contain all the info we need. Click on any of the items on a calendar and a separate info box appears listing the details. The CMP e-Store is an online listing of all of the items CMP has for sale. Every year a group of volunteers gathers to assist with mailing out the upcoming season’s brochure listing all the events for the new season. Included in the electronic newsletter is a page listing all the events and ticket sale information. This year, we will receive a postcard informing us of the upcoming events posted on the park website. Some folks complain about that but it works like a charm as there were very little leftovers from the last several events. And one last thing, for a business to truly profit or to become successful, it should be taken as a hobby and not only as a way to gain profit.

It’s a great way to keep the food budget in line. In order to estimate the amount of food needed for these events, pre-purchased tickets are required and there is a cut off date with no sales after that deadline nor any sales at the door. There are quite a few puppy dogs who know we have treats waiting for them when they visit so we’ve become a regular stop on their morning tour. There is a separate one for EVENTS, another for ACTIVITIES, and one for SPORTS. I bought one from some boy scouts at my safeway, it was pricey, but I knew it was for a good cause.
